Step into a masterpiece! This piece celebrates the vibrant brilliance of Van Gogh’s iconic paintings, and is our heartfelt tribute to the bravery and beauty of the artist. We combined several of Van Gogh’s works to create this print — including his infamous “Roses” (1890), which captures the delicate beauty of blooming flowers as a symbol of hope. The words “I dream my painting and I paint my dream”, written in the book on the table, is our very favourite quote from the artist himself. As a significant, final touch, we added the eye from Van Gogh’s “Self Portrait with a Straw Hat” (1887), a painting which offers an intimate glimpse into the artist’s soul. This lush botanical print comes from the “12 Months of Flowers”, a series of beautiful hand-coloured etchings from the 1700s. The prints were commissioned by English gardener Robert Furber, and were published as a catalogue of flowers and seeds. We chose the Spring engravings for their delightfully detailed blooms, and then layered the flowers together. You can also wear this piece two ways, with the bee on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood.

The adjustable straps, oversized cut, and soft, flowy bamboo viscose make our Bohéme dresses a wardrobe staple for layering, running errands, dancing, lounging or napping — and they’re also a must-have for travel, wherever you roam. You can also wear this piece two ways, with the butterfly & hummingbird on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood.

Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our models in the photos are wearing the dresses without a slip.

100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
