Krishna, the god of compassion, love and tenderness, shown in one of his various forms as a young man playing his flute. Krishna is one of the main deities of Hinduism and a prominant character in the Mahabharata, an ancient Indan epic where he is depicted as Vishnu's eighth incarnation.
