Veha Handwoven Top- Plant Kween, featured in Tomato
We've brought back our classic Veha top in bold handwoven fabrics as part of our summer collection. Each of these textiles is created using upcycled scrap 'yarn' as part of our unique zero waste process and offers slight variations in texture. Featuring an elegant v-neck, wide sleeves, and a hem that ends at the natural waist, the Veha looks great with a form fitting skirt or coordinating Seyma Pants for head-to-toe color.
This gender-expansive style was designed in collaboration with Christopher, aka The Plant Kween. Each piece in this collection celebrates Christopher’s effortless style with Tonlé’s sustainable, zero waste process. In line with our shared vision of disrupting gender binarism in the fashion industry, each garment has been developed through a gender expansive lens to offer fits of self-expression and joy designed to fit a range of bodies.

This piece is carefully handwoven from small scraps of fabric as part of our unique, zero waste process – utilizing a combination of carefully hand-cut fabric yarns made from cutting room scraps. Our custom-designed fabrics are carefully hand-woven in partnership with talented weavers in Cambodia’s Preah Vihear province in a fair trade workshop, and sent back to our Phnom Penh workshop for final sewing. We burn test each fabric to assure that it is at least 90% natural, plant-based fiber. Please carefully hand-wash and lay flat to dry for best results. Because of the carefully handmade nature of this piece, it is as eco friendly as it is uniquely stylish. Each piece may vary slightly in color and texture, and we celebrate this.
